Enhancing Forest Fire Risk Management and Watershed Resilience in Central Asia and Pakistan
The main objective of this project is to reduce forest fire risks in key watersheds by enhancing stakeholders’ capacity to prevent and prepare for forest fires. To achieve this objective, the project will work with various relevant government and non-government stakeholders, including the security forces (to be introduced by the US Embassies) in each of the focus countries to co-develop a fire risk assessment dashboard, training materials, and knowledge dissemination.
