Bunyod Holmatov
Research Group Leader – Water, Food, Energy Nexus (WFEN)
Bunyod Holmatov’s research focuses on developing synergistic solutions to complex societal challenges in the water-food-energy nexus. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, where he also earned his Doctor of philosophy in civil engineering. Holmatov holds a master’s degree from the Yale School of Environment. He also has significant experience in transboundary water management, where he has mapped barriers to cooperation and developed strategies for the sustainable management of shared water resources.
