Sanju worked with Policy Entrepreneurs Incorporated as a Co-lead and gender focal person for the action research project on Water-induced Disaster Risks Management Planning in Nepal. She also worked with Social Science Baha, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Caritas Nepal under different capacities. She has a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Some of her publications include Exploring migration and disaster nexus, and Impacts of the delay in construction of a large scale hydropower project on potential displaces.
