She leads project management for the Digital Innovation for Water Secure Africa (DIWASA) project, provides strategic support to the Nexus Policy Team of the CGIAR Policy Innovations Science program and is leading the Commission on Water for Food Futures. Greatrix has worked with IWMI and CGIAR since 2012, and with a career spanning the non-governmental organization, research and consulting sectors, she has a proven track record in establishing and implementing management and monitoring structures, specializing in coordinating complex, multi-faceted initiatives involving multi-country consortia. Her experience covers strategic planning, operations oversight, and financial management for major CGIAR initiatives like NEXUS Gains and the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems, as well as providing strategic advice to CGIAR platforms. Greatrix led the Africa components of programs on Wetlands and Livelihoods; Ecosystem Services; and Disaster Risk Reduction for Wetlands International.
