IWMI works in Peru to address key environmental and agricultural challenges, focusing on enhancing water management and promoting sustainable practices in urban and peri-urban agriculture. Researchers conduct projects which emphasize improving food security, advancing agroecological innovations, and fostering resilience in local food systems, particularly in the face of climate change and resource scarcity.
