Water efficiency technologies for cotton production in Uzbekistan

IWMI will promote best practices in agriculture, especially cotton production, in Uzbekistan. The program will result in:

1. Improved water use efficiency, water saving and accounting technologies.
2. Innovative methods for monitoring of water use.
3. Delivery of capacity building and trainings for water specialists, agronomists and farmers in collaboration with cotton agricultural clusters and the Water Consumer Association (WCA) in the project pilot regions.
