Support of Agroecological Transformation Processes in India

The aim of this project is to develop and implement a decision support system (DSS) for creating sustainable and climate-resilient landscapes based on the principles of agroecological farming. The DSS output will provide the best combination of land, water, and vegetation practices (e.g., crop distribution, natural farming, and S&W conservation practices) for a given watershed based on the available natural resource base, agroecology, and climate. The DSS will provide the tool to effectively manage land, water, and vegetation resources in a landscape and watershed by integrating environmental systems.
