Innovation laboratory for small scale irrigation

The Feed the Future Innovation Laboratory for Small Scale Irrigation (ILSSI) extension (2019-2023) will focus on scaling research around the identified and tested small scale irrigation (SSI) solutions under ILSSI Years 1-5. The research foci of years 6-10 will emphasize generating evidence for effective scaling and increasing inclusive access to and benefits from sustainable small-scale irrigation. Evidence will also be generated on SSI in the context of improving social and ecological resilience. ILSSI will continue with a mixed method approach to research and continuous engagement with stakeholders to ensure demand-responsive and relevant results. Future activities will integrate scaling partners, including national government bodies, international and national research institutions, implementing organizations, and private sector actors.
