Hydrological Assessment of Living Indus Initiative
This initiative aims to catalyze investments in efforts to protect, restore, and sustainably manage critical ecosystem assets that provide protection against fluvial and coastal flooding, as well as drought, heat stress, and saline intrusion. This collaboration will implement hydrological monitoring in Sindh Province, Pakistan to focus on characterizing the fluvial and pluvial causes of the 2010, 2011, and 2022 floods and developing models of current and future flood risks at a suitable hydrological scale within the province.
