Groundwater resource management in Lao

This activity will support the Department of Water Resources (DWR) in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in Lao PDR through the provision of specialist support and training in sustainable groundwater management and in preparing a national groundwater action plan.

Additional elements will support Australia’s long-standing relationship with the Department of Water Resources (DWR) within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in Laos by providing specialist support and training in sustainable groundwater management. The project will support DWR identify effective approaches to launch and implement the National Groundwater Action Plan, emphasizing the application of sustainable groundwater management practices.
