Senior Research Officer - Hydrologist


Zeshan Ali is a Water resources and agricultural engineer with expertise in hydrological modeling, climate modeling, statistical analysis, remote sensing, machine learning and sustainable water management. Ali is experienced in advanced field instrumentation such as EC Flux tower, surface and groundwater sensors and soil moisture probes for hydrological assessments and irrigation optimization. He presently leads field operations, stakeholder engagement and capacity-building initiatives, organizing multi-stakeholder platforms, training workshops, and youth-focused water programs to promote climate-resilient water practices. Ali has previously engaged in hydraulic infrastructure design, flood risk assessment, irrigation optimization and renewable energy integration. He has expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, Geological informationsystem based analysis and machine learning for climate impact studies. Ali is passionate about data-driven solutions for water sustainability and climate resilience.
