Shreya Chakraborty has over six years of research experience in the development sector and has provided program leadership to multiple projects. These include climate change impacts and adaptation, food-water-energy nexus and disaster management policies, hydropower policies, peri-urban socioecological transformations and women’s climate leadership. She was a Senior Fellow and Executive Director of the South Asia Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies (SaciWATERs), Hyderabad.Â
She holds a Master of philosophy in Regional development, and a master’s degree in Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
