Shreya Chakraborty

Researcher – Climate Change Policy and Adaptation


Shreya Chakraborty has over six years of research experience in the development sector and has provided program leadership to multiple projects. These include climate change impacts and adaptation, food-water-energy nexus and disaster management policies, hydropower policies, peri-urban socioecological transformations and women’s climate leadership. She was a Senior Fellow and Executive Director of the South Asia Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies (SaciWATERs), Hyderabad. 

She holds a Master of philosophy in Regional development, and a master’s degree in Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
