Her work integrates Earth observation data with field-based insights to support sustainable land and water management across diverse regions. Kumah’s expertise spans satellite data analysis, hydrological modeling and applied geospatial analytics for climate-resilient agriculture, and natural resource management.
She has contributed to multidisciplinary initiatives on irrigation development, deforestation monitoring and landscape governance, collaborating with international and national partners. Currently, Kumah focuses on scaling Irrigation as a Service (IaaS) using multi-criteria approach to optimize decision-making and resource allocation and supporting the WaPOR project in developing data-driven tools for sustainable water management.
