Fiza Faizi worked as a Research associate in the Geospatial Indices Development Unit of the Remote Sensing GIS and Climatic Research Lab (RSGCRL). Her key areas of research included surface water quality monitoring, environmental impact assessment of pollution sources, studying vegetation dynamics under changing climatic conditions and coastal change assessment.
