National Researcher - Geospatial Hydrologist

Eric Mortey contributes to the Digital Innovations for a Water Secured Africa – DIWASA – program, applying cutting-edge remote sensing techniques and advanced data processing technologies to enhance IWMI’s water accounting framework. His work supports its deployment across diverse spatial scales — from river basins to national and continental levels. Mortey is actively involved in data preparation for future water accounting implementation in Kenya and contributes to the ongoing development of the Sustainable Water in Agriculture (SWAG) and Water Accessibility (ACWA) tools.
