Dilmi Sithara specializes in Geospatial InfomrS, remote sensing, hydrology, groundwater management and climate adaptation. Sithara’s work involves groundwater monitoring, climate risk assessment and early warning system development, collaborating with government agencies, universities, and NGOs. She has expertise in hydrological and climate modeling, Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing and stakeholder engagement. Sithara is conducting groundwater vulnerability assessments in Jaffna, developing climate data-sharing platforms and supporting national climate adaptation strategies. Sithara’s passion for sustainable water resource management drives her to develop data-driven solutions that address climate challenges in Sri Lanka.
