Akif Rahim
National Researcher - Climate Change Adaptation
Akif Rahim is a hydro-climatologist with extensive experience in studying the impact of climate extremes on the ecosystem and coupling the climate change scenarios with physical and machine learning-based hydrological models. He is skilled in computer programming and the use of hydrological and hydraulic software. Rahim has shared his research at numerous national and international conferences and was part of a research team at the Japan Meteorological Research Institute to develop high-resolution climate projections of the Indus Basin. Rahim has also taught courses in “Exploratory Data Analysis” and “Environmental Data Presentation” to M.Sc. students at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
