International Day of Zero Waste

International Day of Zero Waste 2026 is centered around food and created a circular future based on what we eat and what we waste. Every year, about 1 billion tons of edible food is thrown away, impacting both people and the environment. 60% of food waster happens at the household level. Governments, businesses and individual consumers all have a hand in waste management.
