The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), on behalf of the CSIR Management and the Heads of International Organizations hosted by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, cordially invites you to a panel discussion on Agricultural Water Management for Attainment of SDGs in Ghana and the launch of a book on the Volta River Basin. The event will take place on 20th September 2017 starting at 2:00pm at the CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (STEPRI) conference room directly behind Golden Tulip Hotel.

The presentations will kick off with a short introduction to the linkages between agricultural water management and the SDGs. This will be followed by a few presentations focusing on some aspects of agricultural water management in Ghana. These issues will be explored further through sharing of viewpoints and experiences among the panelists.

There will also be a launch of a recently published book titled: The Volta River Basin: Water for Food, Economic Growth and Environment, that included contributions from researchers and government policy advisors from Volta Basin member states.
