Supporting MENA resilience
This initiative focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive drought management plans aimed at bolstering the resilience of communities and ecosystems against drought conditions, while also addressing broader challenges related to water scarcity and climate change.
The project will also identify and prioritize key regional challenges in the MENA region, such as improving water governance and management, enhancing water use efficiency across sectors, promoting drought-resistant agricultural practices and crop diversification, and strengthening early warning systems and disaster risk reduction measures.
