I have worked on Institutional intervention of Farmer Producer Organizations in marketing of Jackfruit and women empowerment facets during my Post-Graduation program. I have conducted a study on impact analysis of Government schemes such as, National Food Security Mission (NFSM) and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) on area and productivity expansion of major pulse crops in India. During my Doctoral program I have worked on, Greenhouse gases – emission taxes and their mechanisms with special reference to Indian Agriculture. Artificial Neural Networks in price forecasting of agricultural commodities. I have conducted a full-fledged grass root level study on groundwater governance and its economic efficiency in different water user regimes. Study involved four GW user categories: (a) Own users (b) Sharers (c) Sellers and (d) Purchasers. Economic efficiency of GW usage, transaction cost and its influence on market prices of GW in each category was analyzed and Jevons Paradox in respect of use of GW in presence of micro irrigation system was analyzed. In continuation with this, I have worked on GW productivity and bargaining powers of stakeholders in markets during my Postdoctoral period. I have worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), India, in the Department of Economics on the 10 agricultural commodities and their competitiveness concerning productivity in the international markets.
