Ammala Chanthalath

Research Officer - Participatory Methods


Ammala Chanthalath supports research, primarily in the field, with a focus on soil improvement and soil health analysis. She also leads the farmers engagement program focused on soil improvement through legume crop rotation in paddy rice fields. Chanthalath is involved with Red Rice trials and oversees an integrated farming initiative combining vegetable cultivation with duck rearing. She assists in monitoring rice-fish culture systems as well as solar-powered groundwater projects and contributes to the ASEAN irrigation data collection project.
