SUMMARY:Water Dialogues for Results Bonn 2021: Accelerating cross-sectoral 
 SDG 6 implementation
DESCRIPTION:Under the theme “Water Dialogues for Results Bonn 2021: Accel
 erating cross-sectoral SDG 6 implementation”\, the Federal Ministry for 
 the Environment\, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) is initiati
 ng an international water dialogue on behalf of the entire German governme
 nt in 2021. Together with other UN member states\, representatives of the 
 UN major groups and international organisations\, our aim is to work towar
 ds accelerated\, cross-sectoral implementation of the water-related goals 
 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.\n\nThis dialogue process w
 ill culminate on 1 July 2021 in a high-level conference in Bonn\, which wi
 ll also serve as a preparatory conference for the midterm review of the In
 ternational Decade for Action on Water for Sustainable Development in 2023
 .\n\nDr. Mark Smith\, Director General\, has been chosen to be part of the
  steering committee.
