DESCRIPTION:Ministry of Agricultural through Natural Resource Management Di
 rectorate in collaboration with IWMI and CARE Ethiopia organizes launching
  of a National Platform on Agricultural Water Management (AWM) will take p
 lace from 15-16 January 2015 at Lalibela Conference room in ILRI campus. T
 he purpose of national event is to integrate sector dialogue on small-scal
 e irrigation\, soil and water conservation and other forms of water manage
 ment under broader concept of Agricultural Water Management. It aimed at e
 nhancing experience sharing and facilitating scaling up of best practices 
 on AWM. The high-level event will bring together representatives from Gove
 rnment Offices\, NGOs\, Development Partners and Research Institutions.
