DESCRIPTION:\nLeaders and researchers from the International Water Manageme
 nt Institute (IWMI) will join a large and varied group of experts to share
  insights and solutions at the High-Level Conference on the International 
 Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development\,” 2018-2028.\n\n
 \n\nOrganized jointly by the United Nations and Government of Tajikistan\,
  the event will take place in the country’s capital\, Dushanbe.\n\n\n\nT
 he main objectives of the Conference are to discuss the ways on how the Me
 mber States\, relevant UN bodies\, the specialized agencies\, the regional
  commissions and other organizations of the UN system\, as well as other r
 elevant partners\, including the private sector can contribute to the Deca
 de in order to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainab
 le Development. It will also allow for discussion on the importance of spe
 cific means of implementation\, including monitoring\, financing\, capacit
 y development\, access to technology and partnership with the private sect
