DESCRIPTION:The vision for this high-level event is to share cutting-edge k
 nowledge and evidence on closing the gender gap in farming under climate c
 hange\, and to convene thinkers and doers in a forum to inspire renewed ac
 tion.\n\nSpecific objectives include:\n\n# Share key research results rela
 ted to gender\, climate change\, agriculture and food security.\n# Discuss
  how such results are being used or could be used to reduce gender inequal
 ities including their implications for policy and programs.\n# Identify ke
 y gaps in the research that still need to be addressed to achieve optimal 
 gender inclusion.\n# Identify appropriate frameworks and methods for colle
 cting and analyzing data around the topics of gender and climate change.\n
 # Networking for building potential partnership and/or strengthening exist
 ing partnerships.\n\nThe format of the event will include several research
  presentations in the morning and a high-level panel discussion in the aft
 ernoon. The high-level panel discussion will be webcast live - pre registe
