DESCRIPTION:The objective of the Budapest Water Summit 2016 is to facilitat
 e water to be the source of cooperation\, peace and development in all cou
 ntries that have a stake in sustainable development\, instead of being the
  cause of global risks and further conflicts of the 21st century. For this
  purpose\, the participants of the Summit shall discuss and adopt the “B
 udapest Statement 2016” in order to be able to propose solutions to the 
 relevant international forums.\n\nThe closing document of the Budapest Wat
 er Summit 2013\, the “Budapest Statement” clearly declared that in th
 e targets of the post-2015 development agenda\, water-related issues shoul
 d be included as a stand-alone sustainable development goal and also elabo
 rated the contents of that particular goal. The proposals formulated in th
 e Budapest Statement covered the whole spectrum of water-management.\n\n&n
