DESCRIPTION:Asia Water Forum 2018 provides a platform and venue for sharing
  knowledge and experience on water information\, innovation\, and technolo
 gy across the region. Asia Water Forum 2018 aims to discuss ways to identi
 fy and adopt innovations that best address the requirements for a water-se
 cure Asia and the Pacific\, and to keep the profile of water high on the r
 egion's development agenda. The increased knowledge and application of int
 ernational best practices as well as continued development and use of info
 rmation systems\, remote sensing\, enhanced control systems\, and other ad
 vanced technology are expected to improve the effectiveness and sustainabi
 lity of ADB-financed projects in developing member countries\; thus improv
 ing the management of water\, delivery of water services\, and status of w
 ater security across the region.\n\nStaff from IWMI will be at Asia Water 
 Forum sharing their views about evolving thinking on agricultural water pr
 oductivity\, improved solutions for mitigation and risk management\, mov
