SUMMARY:1st IWA Resource Recovery Conference 'Bridging towards the chemical
  industry'
DESCRIPTION:This international conference brings for the first time researc
 hers and professionals involved in the recovery and production of resource
 s from aqueous streams together with representatives of the chemical and o
 ther industries. The key scope of the meeting is to create better pipeline
 s from resource (“wastewater”) to the chemical or other industries tak
 ing off the products. Such pipelines can create a demand driven process de
 velopment as well as avoid mismatches between product specification and ma
 rket demands. Session approaches will span from basic research to industri
 al demonstrations\, with topics including nutrient recovery\, organics pro
 duction\, integrated water recovery\, environmental assessment\, energy tr
